The six Frenchies from L'Impératrice got Bilbao BBK Live dancing with their swaying pop. A trans-Pyrenean encounter to introduce the Spanish public to Pulsar, their third album.
Dreamy melodies, unstoppable groove and retro vibes: L'Impératrice has established a unique style, at the crossroads of disco, funk and modern pop. Since their debut, the Parisian sextet has evoked a sense of carefree elegance in their sophisticated music, which is both referential and delightfully innovative. Carried by vintage sounds, the band revives the heyday of French Touch, with numerous nods to Daft Punk, Air and Sébastien Tellier. A cosmic and sensual musical identity, where space disco, tiki influences and subtly modernised 90s vibes intersect. In June 2024, L'Impératrice unveiled Pulsar, a third album that marks a turning point: more experimental, freer, but still as irresistibly danceable as ever. With tracks such as Vanille Fraise, now performed by singer Louve, the band proves that groove knows no boundaries... or era.
