How did France become the country of gastronomy?
During the 1900's, thousands of motorists took to the roads of France for the first time. And in particular on the Nationale 7 which links Paris to the French Riviera. At each stop, restaurants and inns opened to serve this new clientele. Thus were born true dynasties of cooks who would make France THE country of food.
