Deforestation, migration, toxic chemicals coupled with other factors have increased the population of mosquitoes. They are now able to reproduce in cold climates making the spread of diseases like Zika, Dengue more prevalent than before. While scientists have found innovative ways to neutralize the insect, the threat of deadly illnesses will persist until we are able to create ecological balance.
