Carp fishing is a very time-consuming passion. It regularly drives fishermen to spend the night at the water’s edge, if not weekends or even whole weeks. Carp fishing, which has been practiced in France for more than 25 years, has undergone a number of transformations during that time. Over the course of a road trip, I take you to meet various experts at modern carp fishing. During fishing outings, we learn the new techniques and understand how profoundly they have changed. In short, it's an opportunity to assess 25 years of this sort of fishing in France, from the ZIG RIG, to spot fishing, to urban carp fishing.
Yann GUILIO, a devoted angler and ambassador for the sport, will be our guide as we set out to meet different fishermen.
