On the borders of Germany and Poland, at the confluence of the border river Oder and the river Warta, the Ujście Warty National Park covers more than 80 square kilometers. This vast marshy mouth is home to no less than 245 species of birds, including, between autumn and winter, about 170,000 grey geese of the "harvest, laughing and ash" varieties from far-off Siberia and Scandinavia.
