To the side where the sun sets, the French territory breaks up into a myriad of islands washed by the Channel or the Atlantic. Islands of every size, tiny concentrations of Brittany, some near, some far, calm or battered by the winds, severe or smiling.
The adventure begins in spring, at the end of the winter hibernation period. Activity gradually resumes, but the sites are still free of crowds: there’s still time for discovery. And between May and June, when nature is reawakening, is undoubtedly the moment when these islands reveal their most beautiful flora and fauna.
