In 2004, Australian scientists made an astonishing discovery: in Melbourne Bay they found the biggest gathering of spider crabs in the world. Brought to public attention by Jacques Perrin’s film Ocean, hundreds of thousands of these crustaceans migrate once a year to the same place at the same time. The reason is still unknown. Sabine sets out to learn more about this strange phenomenon. But the murky waters don’t reveal their mysteries so easily.
