We’ve become accustomed to a life in which healthcare saves us. Much of this is thanks to one single kind of drug - antibiotics. Now, that has changed. You have probably heard of antibiotic resistance – that antibiotics no longer work on the constantly mutating strains of bacteria. This is why bacteria is, once again, threatening our way of life. Although the situation can look pretty dim, new solutions are under way. Here we meet the researchers who are developing new smart ways to defeat the bad bacteria.
