Even after 40 years experience, Dr Brasseur can still be surprised by his work, as with the case of an extremely rare Nicobar pigeon from the Paradisio Park. It will be a world first if it survives this delicate operation for a calcification of its cloaca. Alongside this exceptional patient, the usual clientele of dogs and cats pales in comparison. However, they can turn as dangerous as any wild animal. One common, but delicate, operation carried out on them by the vets is castration. In parallel with the operations and consultations we also discover the other aspect of the clinic with today an invasion by the little daughter of one of the vets. Her child’s words cannot allay the sorrow of an owner who is about to lose his rat. The episode ends with the troubling case of a female macaw.
