There are some quieter days at the clinic when they have time to perform an operation at leisure or test some new equipment. Others are more incident-packed. The operation on a Belgian Shepherd suffering from a twisted abdomen interrupts Dr Brasseur’s evening. They have to treat the Yorkshire, Dolly, who swallowed some “nasty bits of bone” and also has breathing difficulties. No aspect of the operations conducted in the clinic is avoided, not even the euthanasia carried out on a ferret.
